Phuket Property: Como at Yamu

PHUKET: COMO Hotels and Resorts, the award-winning five-star hotel group based in Singapore, is to develop and manage a new property on the Yamu peninsula of Phuket. This property is the tenth member of the COMO family of unique destinations and is scheduled to open in November this year.

Point Yamu offers 109 rooms, including 30 private villas, with panoramic views of the cape and the surrounding Andaman Sea. Guests can use the resort as a base to explore the dramatic limestone islands and waters of Phang Nga Bay.

Just 20 minutes from Phuket International Airport, the hotel will be an attractive proposition for Asia-based guests looking for a short break to rejuvenate, as well as long-haul guests seeking a comprehensive escape from city life.

Point Yamu will offer a 100-meter swimming pool, a COMO Shambhala Retreat featuring eight treatment rooms, as well as a yoga studio, an Italian and Thai restaurant, “Glow”, featuring COMO Shambhala’s healthy cuisine, and a private beach.
